Zamioculcas Zamiifolia

The Zamioculca Zamiifolia (Nick Name ZeeZee plant) is a flowering plant with feather- like leaves and stems that can grow up to three feet long. The plant is glossy, easy to maintain, and has a natural, unique look.

This plant produces calcium oxalates, which will lead to irritation in humans and pets.
It’s not super poisonous, but it will cause pets discomfort if ingested.

How to Care for the ZZ Plant

Light: The zz plant should always be kept in areas with low levels of light. It should be kept away from direct sunlight as it cannot flourish in that state. They particularly like fluorescent lights or bright office and building lights.

Water: Watering the zz plant is easy. It only requires watering every 1-2 weeks or when the top inch of the soil is dry.

Soil: The zz plant is not picky when it comes to soil. If the soil drains well, it will work
perfectly with this plant.

Temperature and Humidity: The zz plant is required to stay in humid areas of 65-75
degrees. The warmer the temperature is, the faster the plant grows.

Fertilizer: Give the zz plant a liquid based fertilizer once a month when watering. That is all it needs in terms of fertilization.
